Secret Cinema is your chance to see great movies not published on our schedule. As a Friend of the Normal Theater, you are invited once a month to view great cinema. Movies that inspire. Movies that entertain. Movies that enlighten. Most showings are held on Tuesdays.
Here's how it works: Every month you'll receive the amount of tickets pertaining to your donation level, either individual or family. For the Secret Cinema program, individual donors get one ticket, family donors get two.
Of course, we don't want you sitting alone in the movie theater! You may bring additional guests with you to this program as long as they come with you. They can get in three ways: They can buy a $5 ticket ($4 if they are 12 or under); they can use one of your complimentary passes, which you receive if you donate at the $35 level and up; or they can sign up to be a Friend of the Normal Theater the night of the film (a table will be set up in the lobby). Patron ($25 individual)- receives the quarterly newsletter and invitation to every Secret Cinema screening
Star ($35 individual) - receives quarterly newsletter and one invitation to every Secret Cinema event
Producer ($50 individual or family) - receives quarterly newsletter, two complimentary Normal Theater passes and two invitations to every Secret Cinema event
Director ($100 individual or family) - receives quarterly newsletter, four complimentary Normal Theater passes and two invitations to every Secret Cinema event
Movie Mogul ($250 individual or family) - receives quarterly newsletter, six complimentary Normal Theater passes and two invitations to every Secret Cinema event
