You may remember going to a theater like the Normal (or maybe even the Normal itself) and that feeling of magic- everything from the approach to the ticket booth, the usher who tore your ticket (there’s no turning back now!), the glorious candy counter with more treats than your allowance could buy, and those swinging doors that led you on a path to the most terrific experience you’ll always remember. You can live this experience on every movie night at the Normal Theater. We restore movie going to what it once was, what it should be- a magical transformation into a wonderland of fantasy. Driving Instructions

From I-55 North of Bloomington-Normal- Take Main Street (Business 51) south about two miles. Turn left on College Ave. Traveling east on College, turn right at the third traffic light, which is Fell Ave. Turn left onto North Street at the stop sign. The Normal will in the middle of the block on the right. See above for parking information.

From I-74 South of Bloomington-Normal- Take Main Street (Business 51) north about five miles. Turn right on College Ave. Traveling east on College, turn right at the third traffic light, which is Fell Ave. Turn left onto North Street at the stop sign. Where To Park?

Uptown Normal is experiencing many positive changes, but parking is no problem if you know where to go.  Click on this handy parking map link and you'll find the many lots and street parking spaces available to you when you attend the Normal Theater.  As always, please be careful not to park in those areas reserved for private businesses - these have signs posted, so look for public parking lots only.
