Father O'Malley (Bing Crosby) is transferred to the Roman Catholic inner-city school St. Mary's, where he quickly falls into conflict with its headmistress, Sister Mary (Ingrid Bergman). Their primary disagreement has to do with the deteriorating school itself. Father O'Malley feels it should be abandoned and the children sent to other schools. Sister Mary and the other nuns, however, believe there is still hope, possibly in the form of charity from a wealthy business owner (Henry Travers). NR / 126 min.

In this, the world's first fully painted film, the mystery surrounding the death of famed painter Vincent van Gogh in 1890 France is explored. After a complete live-action shoot, 65,000 individual frames were painted over the course of two years to bring the film to life; the result is absolutely stunning. PG-13 / 95 min.
This screening of LOVING VINCENT will also feature an introductory presentation by Dena Peterson, who will (via video chat) share images & stories of her process working as one of the artists on the film. That presentation will start at 7:00pm with the film to follow immediately after (no later than 7:30pm); Ms. Peterson will then re-join us following the film for a Q & A session. And all that is included with your regularly-priced ticket.
